JTR Labs LLC is an independent software studio. All products on this site are published by JTR Labs LLC unless otherwise noted.
Each product has its own privacy policy and terms, which govern that product specifically and take precedence over the site-wide documents where they differ:
Some products — currently including Cortex (iOS app, web app, and the Cortex Web Clipper) — are offered as public betas. Beta software is under active development, may contain bugs or incomplete functionality, and may change or be discontinued at any time. You use beta software at your own risk. See each product's terms for the full beta provisions.
Several of our products (notably Cortex) are local-first: your content lives as files on your device, not on our servers. Keeping backups of your own data is your responsibility. Where end-to-end encryption is offered, the encryption passphrase is known only to you — no one, including JTR Labs, can recover it or data encrypted with it if it is lost.
All content on this site — including product names, logos, designs, text, and software — is the property of JTR Labs LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission, except as permitted by an applicable open-source license.
Apple, the Apple logo, App Store, iPhone, iPad, and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. All other third-party names and marks are the property of their respective owners; their use here does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
