Privacy Policy
ZenSquish is built around a simple rule: your data should stay yours. We don't collect personal information, we don't run analytics, we don't show ads, and we don't ship your activity off to a server. Everything you do in the app — your sessions, your creations, your unlocks — lives only on your device.
What we collect
From the app itself: nothing. ZenSquish has no accounts, no sign-up, no email collection, no telemetry, and no crash-reporting SDK. We don't know who you are, where you are, or how long you've used the app.
All progress — your XP, streaks, unlocked materials, custom creations in Studio, mindfulness session count, and preferences (sound, haptics, dark mode, reduced motion) — is stored on your device using Apple's local AsyncStorage. Deleting the app deletes all of it. Nothing syncs to a cloud we control.
No advertising
ZenSquish ships no ad SDKs at all. There is no Google AdMob, no Facebook Audience Network, no Unity Ads, no Meta Pixel, no Branch, no AppsFlyer, no Adjust, no nothing. The app makes zero network requests for advertising purposes.
Because we don't show ads, ZenSquish never asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission, never reads your Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and never shares anything with ad networks or data brokers.
In-app purchases & subscriptions
ZenSquish Pro (monthly $3.99 or yearly $39.99, both with a 7-day free trial) is processed by Apple's StoreKit. Apple handles the transaction, receipt validation, and any refunds. We never see your payment method, billing address, or Apple ID. We only know whether your device has an active Pro entitlement — which is checked locally against the receipt stored by iOS.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings.
Permissions ZenSquish may request
- Haptic feedback — used to make the blob feel responsive in your hand. No data leaves the device.
ZenSquish does not request location, microphone, camera, contacts, photos, calendar, reminders, motion, health, notification, or App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permissions.
Children's privacy
ZenSquish is rated 9+ and is not directed at children under 13. We collect no information from anyone, including children. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, email us at [email protected].
Your rights
Because we don't collect or store personal information on our servers, there is no account to delete, no data export to provide, and no profile to correct. The data the app stores on your device is fully under your control — clearing it is as simple as deleting the app.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change what data we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and bump the version number at the top. We'll never retroactively apply broader collection to data already on a user's device.
