WearCast has no app account, advertising SDK, or embedded analytics. Closet photos, preferences, outfit plans, and wear history are stored on your device. Apple provides weather, city search, and in-app purchases.

Both. You can check the current weather, explore the hourly and 10-day forecast, and get clothing suggestions based on the conditions and your comfort preferences. The closet and planner connect that information to getting dressed.
No. Start with counts of the types of clothes you own—coats, jackets, hoodies, and more. Photos are optional. Plus lets you add individual garments when you want specific pieces in your outfit choices.
Yes. Search for and save multiple cities, then switch between them. Forecasts and planning use the selected city’s time zone. Weather data and city-search availability depend on Apple’s services.
They are local reminders scheduled from the latest forecast when you open WearCast, for the next 24 hours. Delivery depends on notification permissions, device settings, and recent app use. They are not continuously updated emergency alerts.
Yes. Start a free outing Live Activity from Today or “I’m going out.” Puff, your main layer, the forecast, and rain or snow timing appear on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island on supported devices. Tap to open the outing, or use End when you’re finished. Weather updates when the app refreshes, and older information is marked for refresh.
Plus normally stays available through the end of the paid period. After access ends, existing garments, plans, and history remain viewable, exportable, and deletable. Creating or editing Plus content requires an active subscription. The free features remain available.
The app imports only the photos you select and stores resized copies locally, without the originals’ location metadata. WearCast does not send them to a recognition service. Your device’s backup settings and any sharing you initiate remain under your control.
WearCast is preparing for its App Store launch. It is designed for iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. This page previews the app; there is no public download available yet.
