No. There is no BinBuddy account, cloud profile, advertising ID, or app backend. Your schedules and history stay in the app on your device.
Is BinBuddy Plus a subscription?+
No. BinBuddy Plus is a one-time lifetime purchase for the platform where it is bought. The free version remains a complete reminder tool.
Does BinBuddy know my city’s schedule automatically?+
Not yet. You enter and adjust schedules yourself, which keeps the app private and useful for municipal, private, HOA, and custom pickup arrangements.
Are notifications guaranteed?+
No mobile app can guarantee notification delivery. Focus modes, battery settings, and operating-system policies can delay or silence alerts. BinBuddy includes a health screen so you can inspect permissions and scheduled reminders.
Can my family share schedules across devices?+
V1 household responsibilities are local to one device. BinBuddy does not pretend to send invitations or sync data when no account or backend exists.
Can I take my data with me?+
Yes. You can export a readable JSON backup and create ICS calendar files. Exported backups are unencrypted, so store and share them carefully.
