Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and JTR Labs LLC ("JTR Labs," "we," "us," or "our") governing the Loyalore mobile application, Loyalore Community, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance and Privacy Policy

You confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization or another person, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are not the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must consent to your use. Community publishing is not intended for children under 13 to use on their own. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervised use.

3. License to use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for personal use and as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to extract source code, bypass technical protections, or create derivative works from the App except to the extent applicable law does not permit that restriction.

4. Your Content and ownership

"Your Content" includes the dog profiles, photos, videos, scrapbook pages, journal entries, captions, comments, names, dates, notes, and other material you create, upload, or submit. As between you and JTR Labs, you retain ownership of Your Content. You are responsible for Your Content, for having all rights and permissions needed to use it, and for maintaining appropriate backups.

We do not need a license to Content that remains solely in the private, local portion of the App. Apple may separately process Content under settings or services you enable, such as device backup or iCloud.

5. Optional Community publishing

Your Content is private by default. If you choose to publish selected Content to Loyalore Community, you grant JTR Labs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, format, resize, and transcode that published Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the Community feature. This license ends when the published Content is deleted from active systems, except for temporary backups, security records, legal compliance, or disputes.

Published Content can be viewed and interacted with by other Community users. Others may capture, copy, or share what you publish beyond our control, so do not publish anything you want to keep confidential. You must obtain permission before publishing material that belongs to or identifies someone else.

Community uses a pseudonymous Community ID, device-held credential, and a display name or member name rather than a conventional email account. You are responsible for keeping that credential secure. Losing or resetting it may prevent us from verifying ownership of previously published Content. Deleting the App does not itself unpublish Community Content; use the available unpublish controls first or contact support for help.

6. Community and acceptable-use rules

You may not use the Service to create, publish, transmit, encourage, or facilitate:

• unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory activity;
• sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, graphic cruelty, or content that promotes violence or self-harm;
• infringement of intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
• impersonation, misleading identity claims, doxxing, or disclosure of another person's private information without permission;
• spam, bulk solicitation, malware, phishing, automated scraping, or unauthorized commercial promotion;
• attempts to access, alter, or delete another user's Content or actions without authorization;
• circumvention of security controls, ownership checks, rate limits, moderation, or access restrictions; or
• activity that disrupts, overloads, damages, or creates unreasonable risk for the Service or its users.

You agree that each like, comment, reaction, report, or other Community action you submit reflects your intended action and that you will not manipulate engagement or use automation to generate interactions.

7. Moderation, reports, and access

We may review reports and investigate suspected violations. To protect users and the Service, we may refuse publication; remove or restrict Content; remove comments, likes, or reactions; limit features; preserve relevant records; or suspend or revoke Community access. We may act without advance notice when reasonably necessary, but we do not undertake a duty to monitor all Content.

If you believe Content violates these Terms or your rights, use any in-app reporting tool or contact support@jtrlabs.com with enough information to identify the Content and explain the concern. Knowingly false or abusive reports are prohibited.

8. Purchases and billing

The Service may include a free tier and optional Loyalore Plus purchases or subscriptions for premium features.

• Billing: Apple processes payment through your App Store account. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
• Subscriptions: If offered, a subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
• Prices and features: The App Store purchase screen controls the price, duration, trial terms, and included features shown at the time of purchase.
• Refunds: Apple handles App Store refund requests under its policies.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, Loyalore name and logos, design, illustrations, templates, text, and materials we provide, is owned by JTR Labs or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service or our marks to you. Your Content remains yours as described above.

The Service relies on or may link to third-party services, including Apple services, cloud hosting, and destinations you select through the iOS share sheet. Third parties have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party products or actions outside our control.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, continued availability of Community Content, preservation of local Content, or that the Service will meet every requirement. Applicable law may give you rights that cannot be waived.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JTR Labs and its officers, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, memories, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising from the Service. Our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $25. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JTR Labs and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or another person's rights.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or when necessary to protect users or the Service. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue.

Upon termination, the App license ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, Community licenses needed for retained backups or legal records, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and dispute terms—will survive.

16. Apple App Store additional terms

These Terms are between you and JTR Labs, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). For an App obtained through the Apple App Store:

• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• JTR Labs, not Apple, is responsible for claims about the App, including product-liability, legal-compliance, consumer-protection, and intellectual-property claims.
• You represent that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism and are not on a U.S. Government prohibited- or restricted-party list.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you upon your acceptance.

17. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may change or discontinue Service features. We may also revise these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use the Service after revised Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not accept them, stop using the Service.

18. Governing law and disputes

Except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which JTR Labs is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction over JTR Labs will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

19. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and JTR Labs about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
