At a glance

  • Your journals and scrapbooks are private by default and remain on your device unless you choose to publish content to Loyalore Community, export it, or enable an Apple storage or sync feature.
  • Community is optional. You may publish selected scrapbooks, photos, videos, and text under a pseudonymous Community identity.
  • We use Community data to provide sharing, likes, comments, reactions, moderation, security, and abuse prevention.
  • We do not sell personal information, show third-party ads, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
  • You can unpublish Community content and delete local content using the controls described below.

This Privacy Policy explains how JTR Labs LLC ("JTR Labs," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Loyalore mobile application, Loyalore Community, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information we handle

The information we handle depends on which features you choose to use.

Content you create

You may create dog profiles, scrapbook pages, journal entries, milestones, photos, videos, captions, dates, health or activity notes, and other content ("Content"). Content that you keep private is stored locally on your device, subject to any device backup or optional Apple storage or sync settings you enable.

Community identity and published Content

Loyalore does not require an email address or traditional user account for Community. To support ownership and interactions, the Service creates or uses a pseudonymous Community credential and Community ID stored on your device, along with the display name or member name you choose. When you publish, our systems process and host the selected photos, videos, text, scrapbook information, and related details needed to display the post.

Community interactions

We process the likes, comments, reactions, reports, publishing status, and similar actions you submit. These actions are associated with your pseudonymous Community identity so the Service can show the intended interaction and help prevent duplicate or unauthorized actions.

Technical and security data

When your device communicates with Community services, we and our hosting providers may process technical data such as IP address, request time, request path and status, device or app information made available by the connection, authentication results, and security, error, or rate-limit events. We use this data to deliver requests, protect Content ownership, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain the Service.

Support communications

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or diagnostic details.

2. How we use information

We use information as reasonably necessary to:

  • save and display the Content you choose to publish;
  • associate Community posts and actions with the correct pseudonymous identity;
  • process one intended like, comment, reaction, report, or other action;
  • let you manage or unpublish Content you own;
  • moderate Community content and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
  • detect fraud, spam, unauthorized access, security incidents, and attempts to evade limits;
  • operate, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability and safety of the Service;
  • provide support and respond to legal obligations; and
  • process purchases and restore purchase access through Apple.

3. Optional Community sharing

Your Content is not published merely because you create or save it. You decide whether to publish selected Content to Loyalore Community. Published Content and your chosen display name or member name can be viewed and interacted with by other Community users. Do not publish information you want to remain private, and obtain permission before publishing Content that identifies or belongs to another person.

You can unpublish Content through available controls. Other people may have already viewed, copied, captured, or shared published Content outside Loyalore; we cannot remove copies outside our control.

4. Device storage, backup, and optional iCloud features

Private Content is saved locally using Apple's on-device storage. Deleting the App or losing your device may delete local Content unless it is included in a backup or optional sync feature you enabled.

If you enable an Apple iCloud storage, backup, or sync feature, Apple may process Content through your Apple account under Apple's Privacy Policy. These Apple-controlled features are separate from publishing to Loyalore Community.

5. Photos, camera, and notifications

Loyalore requests access to your photo library or camera only when needed for a feature you choose. A selected photo or video stays with your private Content unless you export it or intentionally include it in a Community publication. You can change photo and camera permissions in iOS Settings.

If you enable reminders, the App may schedule local notifications on your device. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.

6. Purchases

Optional Loyalore Plus purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Apple may provide transaction and entitlement information needed to complete, verify, or restore a purchase. Apple's processing is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Service providers and other disclosures

We disclose information only as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:

  • Apple, which provides iOS, App Store purchases, and any Apple backup, storage, or sync features you enable;
  • cloud infrastructure and database providers, including Railway or replacement providers, that host Community Content and process requests on our behalf under contractual and security controls;
  • destinations you choose when you export Content or use the iOS share sheet; and
  • authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse or security incidents, or complete a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections.

Service providers may process information only to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

8. Advertising, sales, and cross-app tracking

Loyalore does not contain third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information. We do not use Content or Community activity to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising. We do not embed third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

9. Retention and deletion

  • Private local Content: remains on your device until you delete it, delete the App, or it is removed through your device, backup, or sync settings.
  • Published Community Content: is retained while published. When you unpublish or delete it, it is removed from active Community display, although limited copies may remain temporarily in backups, security records, caches, or records retained for legal compliance and dispute prevention.
  • Community interactions: may remain while needed to display the interaction, secure the Service, resolve reports, or meet legal obligations. Interactions tied only to removed Content may be deleted or de-identified over time.
  • Security and request records: are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, rate limiting, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and legal requirements.
  • Support messages: are retained as needed to answer your request and maintain appropriate business records.

Deleting the App does not automatically delete Content you already published to Community. Unpublish Community Content before deleting the App. Because Community ownership is tied to a pseudonymous credential stored on your device, losing or resetting that credential may prevent the Service from verifying that you own previously published Content. If that happens, contact us and provide enough information for us to evaluate a removal request without compromising another user's Content.

10. Security

We use safeguards designed to protect Community Content and ownership, including authenticated ownership checks, secure transport, rate limits, access controls, and security logging. Your Community credential should be treated as private. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's privacy

Loyalore is a general-audience app. Community publishing is not intended for children under 13 to use on their own. A parent or legal guardian should supervise a child's use and should not allow a child to publish personal information. If you believe a child submitted personal information to Community without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information we maintain, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage private Content in the App and unpublish Community Content using the available controls. You may also contact us with a privacy request.

Because the Service uses a pseudonymous Community identity rather than a conventional account, we may need your Community ID, post details, or other verification to locate data and protect it from unauthorized requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our response.

13. International processing

JTR Labs is based in the United States, and our providers may process Community data in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or law changes. We will revise the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice when required. The version posted here applies from its stated effective date.
