1. About these terms

These terms govern the Staple app and its product website, provided by JTR Labs LLC (“we,” “us”). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services. If you are not old enough to enter into an agreement where you live, involve your parent or legal guardian.

The app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, which governs the app license. These terms supplement it and do not replace it or limit rights you have under applicable law.

2. A planning tool, not medical advice

Staple provides meal-planning tools and estimated nutrition information for general informational use. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose or treat conditions, prescribe a diet, or guarantee weight, fitness, or other health outcomes.

Food values, portions, cooking yields, and nutrition needs vary. Verify labels, allergens, serving sizes, and food safety practices yourself. Dietary filters and prep notes do not guarantee that a food is safe or suitable for you. Consult a qualified health professional for individual dietary needs.

3. Free features and Staple Pro

The free app includes core planning features with the limits described in the app. Pro unlocks additional features while your subscription is active. Availability may depend on your device, operating system, region, and app version. Descriptions of future features are not a promise that those features will ship.

• U.S. Pro prices are $5.99 monthly or $39.99 yearly. Prices in other regions, applicable taxes, and offers may differ. The App Store purchase screen shows the terms that apply to your purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm your purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Staple. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
• Canceling normally leaves access available through the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Use Restore purchases in the app with the Apple Account used to subscribe. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s rules and your statutory rights.

Price changes, if any, will be handled through Apple’s applicable notice and consent process. We do not collect subscription payments on this website.

4. Your content and responsibilities

You retain rights in the information you enter. You are responsible for its accuracy, maintaining your device and backups, and deciding what to share. Sharing content with another service subjects it to that service’s terms and privacy practices.

Use Staple lawfully. Do not infringe others’ rights, interfere with the service, or distribute unauthorized copies. Any restrictions on modification or reverse engineering are subject to applicable law and relevant open-source licenses.

5. Intellectual property

Staple’s software, branding, website design, and original materials belong to JTR Labs LLC or their licensors. Your right to use the app does not transfer ownership of those materials. Third-party marks belong to their respective owners. See our legal information.

6. Availability, warranties, and liability

We work to keep the app useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of every nutrition estimate. The app license’s warranty and liability provisions are set out in Apple’s Standard EULA. This website is provided as available, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any guarantee, remedy, liability, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. In particular, mandatory rights in your country of residence continue to apply.

7. Changes and ending use

You can stop using Staple at any time. Subscription cancellation is a separate step with Apple. If we materially change these terms, we will provide appropriate notice and identify the new effective date. Any change will apply prospectively and remain subject to applicable law.
