Studying should adapt to the student.

Vesper is being built and tested with Apple accessibility settings in mind. This statement describes the current design approach without claiming completed certification or perfect compatibility.

Text that adapts

Core App layouts are designed to respond to Dynamic Type, including accessibility sizes, without relying on fixed text dimensions.

VoiceOver context

Important controls, progress values, mascot states, source actions, and study outcomes use descriptive accessibility labels and hints.

Reduced motion

Decorative mascot movement and nonessential transitions honor the system Reduce Motion preference.

iPad input

iPad workflows are being checked for external-keyboard navigation, visible focus, and efficient split study/source layouts.

More than color

Correctness, status, and progress are communicated with text, symbols, and structure—not color alone.

Native foundations

The App uses SwiftUI and standard Apple controls where practical so system accessibility behavior remains familiar.

Release accessibility gates

Maximum Dynamic Type across onboarding, import, quiz, source, paywall, and deletion flows
VoiceOver order, control names, values, hints, announcements, and source navigation
Contrast and non-color correctness checks in light and dark appearance
Reduce Motion behavior and restrained haptics
iPad external-keyboard and split-layout navigation

Report an accessibility barrier

Email [email protected] with the subject “Vesper accessibility.” Include the App version, device and system version, assistive technology or setting in use, the screen or task, and what you expected.

Do not include private course material. If a barrier depends on a source, describe the file type and page behavior without attaching the document unless a secure support process specifically requests it.
