1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how TaskTimer Plus ("the App"), developed by JTR Labs ("we," "us," "our"), handles information. The tasks, timers, and settings you create stay on your device, and JTR Labs does not operate any server that collects your data. The App is free and supported by Google AdMob advertising, which collects your device's advertising identifier and uses it to serve ads and to track you across apps and websites — see Section 4.

2. Data We Collect
The one category of data collected through the App is handled by our advertising provider, Google AdMob:
- Identifiers — your device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android): collected by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads. It is linked to your identity and may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. Details are in Section 4.
Aside from the advertising identifier described above, JTR Labs does not collect or receive any personal information, including:
- Name, email address, or account credentials
- Your IP address, precise location, or contacts
- Usage patterns, session data, or behavioral analytics gathered by us
- Your timer history or task data
There is no JTR Labs server that receives data from the App. The only information that leaves your device is what Google AdMob collects to serve ads, as described in Section 4.
3. Permissions
The only system permission TaskTimer Plus requests is:
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — used solely to send you an alert when a timer you set has finished. This permission is optional; if denied, timers will still function but you will not receive a notification when they complete.
The App does not request and has no use for:
- Location (no GPS, no network location)
- Contacts or calendar
- Camera or microphone
- Storage access beyond the App's own sandboxed data
- Phone state or call logs
- Any other system permission
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
TaskTimer Plus is free to use and is supported by advertising through Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC). Google AdMob may use your information — including your advertising identifier — to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, and may collect the following to serve, measure, and personalize ads:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
- IP address (used to derive approximate location for ad targeting)
- Device information (make, model, operating system version, app version)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and conversions)
This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. JTR Labs does not receive or store any of this data directly.
On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework will prompt you before AdMob can access your advertising identifier. You may deny this without affecting core app functionality.
To opt out of personalized ads: on iOS go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off Personalized Ads; on Android go to Settings → Google → Ads → opt out of Ads Personalization.
Beyond AdMob, TaskTimer Plus contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services that transmit data off-device, and no other third-party tracking libraries or social media SDKs.
5. Data Stored on Your Device
The App may store your timer presets and preferences locally on your device so they persist between sessions. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to JTR Labs. You can clear it at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
6. GDPR and CCPA
JTR Labs does not collect personal data directly. However, Google AdMob (our advertising partner) may process personal data as a data controller under its own terms. 7. Children's Privacy
TaskTimer Plus is not directed at children under 13. The app contains advertising served by Google AdMob. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the app without parental consent. 8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
