The short version
Your dog’s profile, schedules, care notes, check-ins, contacts, and history are stored on your device. JTR Labs does not receive that information, and it is never used to personalize advertising.
Information you choose to enter
You may add your dog’s profile, a photo, rest sessions, medication schedules and logs, daily observations, incident notes, mobility notes, bathroom events, home checklists, and clinic contact information. This content supports the features you choose to use.
Where your care information lives
Care information is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives it. Deleting the app removes its locally stored information. Any PDF you create is generated at your request and shared only through the destination you choose.
Advertising and technical data
The free version may show ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may receive coarse location derived from an IP address, device identifiers, app and ad interactions, and crash or performance information. These signals may support advertising, measurement, and reliability.
If the app asks for Apple’s tracking permission, you can allow or decline. Your choice can be changed in iOS Settings. Declining does not prevent you from using the app. AdMob does not receive the care content you enter about your dog.
Other services
- Apple StoreKit processes optional purchases and subscriptions.
- Apple Maps opens when you request directions or search for nearby emergency care.
- Local notifications provide reminders you choose to schedule.
- Your photo library is accessed only when you choose a dog profile photo.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your dog’s care information.
- We do not use care notes, medication entries, or journals for advertising.
- We do not require an account or password.
- We do not use your care information to train machine-learning models.
Your choices
You can edit or delete entries in the app, remove the app and its local information, change notification and photo permissions, change Apple tracking permission, or choose an ad-free subscription if offered.
Children’s privacy
IVDD Recovery is intended for adult dog owners and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
